Charity Food Fair - 24 January

St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, Combined Adult 4 (CA4) Division will organize a charity food fair in this coming 24 January 2010 at Pai Teik Primary School. Among the programme of the day including exhibition, blood donation and CPR demonstration.

CIC: 100 new ambulance should have international standards

SJAM Commander-in-Chief, Dato' Dr. Low Bin Tick commented on government's plan to purchase another new 100 ambulances, which cost RM38.5 million, he believed the ambulances should have international standards.

" Each new ambulance which cost about RM380,000, was believed to get import from overseas including the interior equipment. "

He reminded that, not only we need to have an advanced ambulance, but the person who manned the ambulance service need to get well trained on emergency care.

Dato' Dr Low tells the China Press reporter after been asked to comment on the plan of Ministry of Health, which was announced recently by Health Minister Dato Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

When asked on Privatization of Ambulance Service, he said with the vast experience of SJAM in ambulance service, government can hand over the ambulance service to be manned by SJAM.
