St. John Ambulance is well known for their quality First Aid and Home Nursing services. St. John Ambulance also provide First Aid and Home Nursing theory/practical courses for the public and people from various companies/organizations. We offers various first aid class to meet your needs. SJAM is heading towards target of one first aider in every home and one first aid team in every workplace.

| EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES (EMAS) |
 Emergency Medical Assistance Service (EMAS) Penang is a not-for-profit community service projected by St. John Ambulance of Malaysia. EMAS Penang stationed a Class-A equipped ambulance, with well-trained ambulance medic within Bayan Lepas area to respond to any emergency and provide pre-hospital emergency care to the sick and injured.

| NON-EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICES |

i ) Ferrying patient to hospital for medical / routine check up.
ii) Ferrying patient back to home from hospital.
iii) Ferrying patient from one hospital to another.
iv) Ferrying patient for treatments at Dialysis Centres, Rehabilitation Centres, and etc.
Our area of service, covers the whole Penang as well as Peninsular Malaysia, from the border of Malaysia-Thailand to border of Malaysia-Singapore.

| PUBLIC DUTIES / FIRST AID STANDBY |
|
 First Aid and Home Nursing service is the main duty of St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, State of Penang. Our members are trained in First Aid and Home Nursing so that they could render help and services during function or events which includes Penang Bridge International Marathon, Penang Horse Racing, Starwalk, Thaipusam, Wesak Day, concerts, gathering, and events that needs first aid standby. | HIGHWAY EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE |
|
During festival seasons like Hari Raya Puasa, Chinese New Year, Christmas and New Year, SJAM Penang volunteers will be stationed at the Bertam Toll Plaza and Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) Toll Plaza with ambulances to standby and respond to any emergency happens along highway during the these peak seasons. Meanwhile, SJAM's ambulances from every states of Peninsular Malaysia will stationed at strategic location along highway as well.

Charity and community services are carried out frequently by SJAM Penang to continue service for mankind. Medical relief works, visiting and helping in the old folk home, home for the less fortunate are among the services and activities carried out by our volunteers through their divisions. It provide our volunteers chances of learning new knowledge and skills, or practise the skills they have learnt, it also lets our volunteers to care over the communities. SJAM Penang also running the charitable community haemodialysis service with collaboration with The Rotary. The centre situated at our headquarters. We also doing community based emergency ambulance service which we named it EMAS.

| RENTING OF HEADQUARTERS FACILITIES |
 There are facilities available at Penang Headquarters for rental that meet your needs for events. That includes: Hall, Badminton Court, Training & Lecture Room, Conference Room, Rooms and etc.
