FIRST AID AT WORKPLACE

The HRDF-recognised First Aid at Work training course provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.

Introduction of our First Aid at Workplace program.

First Aid at the Workplace is an essential programme that equips employees with the skills to respond effectively during emergencies, creating a safer and more confident working environment. The programme complies with DOSH requirements and is claimable under the HRDC SBL (Skim Bantuan Latihan) scheme. Training is conducted in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English, with Chinese translation available upon request. A minimum ratio of one trainer to ten participants (1:10) is maintained to ensure effective learning. The programme can be delivered either as in-house training at your organisation or at SJAM Penang Headquarters.

How long is a First Aid at Workplace course?

The course is conducted over two days, with 8 hours of training per day, and can be delivered either as an in-house programme or a public open class.

What topics are covered on the First Aid at Workplace course?

Assessment

Assessment will be conducted through both theoretical and practical examinations.

Certificate

Candidates who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Competency issued by St. John Ambulance Malaysia, valid for three years.
